Missions
For an otherwise traditional fundamental independent Baptist Church some may find our approach
to missions a bit non-traditional. We concentrate our efforts heavily into one mission's
project at a time.
Recently we completed efforts in Russia that spanned over eight years. During that time our
Pastor, staff members, and church members made numerous trips to the area. These efforts
resulted in developing a leading church, a Bible Institute, and a Seminary. Everything was
designed from the beginning to remain true to the Word of God, be "Russian," and
become totally independent of American influence.
Currently, the Seminary has approximately 125 students; more than 50 churches have been
started as a result of the Bible Institute and Seminary. The results have been exciting, and
far greater than we could have anticipated, but more importantly, God has been glorified.
We have an ongoing ministry we call the "Missionary to the Marketplace"
program. This is based on the Apostle Paul's "Tentmaking" approach to missions.
Presently our church is assisting specific works of a national missionary
in southeast Asia.
